New York NYE!

This year we decided to host a New York New Years Eve party. It was so much fun speding time with friend celebrating what 2011 brought us all. I have to admit that I kind of felt old saying lets do a NY NYE so that we ring in the New Year when the ball drops in NY. That means it was technically 9pm here in CA but who cares!! I figure why do I have to stay up until midnight when I can say "Happy New Years" all day long when I wake up :) I was wonderful having everyone here with their kids. We just relaxed, chatted & ate lots of yummy food. I am thankful for each of these amazing people & how they made our 2011 such a blessing.

12 Weeks

Cutie!

Well we have made it through the first trimester!! We survived all the gross morning sickness & extra tiredness. I am looking forward to what the next few weeks have in store for us. You are getting bigger in there every day & I can tell. Even though you are only the size of a lime you are making my clothes fit a little more snug. This is that awkward stage where you just look like you have gained some extra weight.

My friend Kay likes to call this the "sausage" phase. She would know best because she just had her sweet little boy Graham Lewis!! We are beyond excited for Kaylyn & Danny to experience the joy of parenting. They are amazing friends & for sure will make extraordinary parents, we just adore them.

This week we celebrated the birth of our Savior on Christmas! It was great to spend time with family & eating delicious food. I was glad this time you made me a little more room in there to enjoy all the goods. Next year you will get to see all the excitement & experience what Christmas is all about.

You are one loved little baby! Stay healthy in there sweetie, we love you most!!

Christmas

We really enjoyed Christmas this year, especially you! We stared out by spending Christmas Eve at church where they had tons of fun stuff for you to do. They had a live nativity, which is weird to think last year you played baby Jesus. They also had a bounce house set up which is quickly becoming your favorite thing. And best of all they had an ice skating rink!!

Not quite sure what to think of the ice rink
Why not twirl!
Hanging in the snow with Michael

The next morning we woke up & read the birth story from the gospel Luke. Then we opened our stockings & your present from us.
Michael & some Rainbows!

Then we headed out to Papi & ChaCha's house for brunch with all of the family. It was fun having all of the cousin's there playing & spending time together. We opened presents from Papi & ChaCha & they got you so awesome stuff! They got you a cool puzzle that spells your name & they got you mega blocks. They also got you this picnic basket that teaches you shapes & colors & you have not stopped playing with that.

After brunch & presents we headed over to Grandma & Grandpa's house for dinner & more gifts. You are one lucky little girl!! We had some delicious Christmas dinner & of course I was full before dinner because I had eaten so much appetizers! You had lots of fun opening your presents. You got an awesome princess tent, cleaning supplies, puzzles & lots of books from auntie Nicole & uncle Daniel. And I think your favorite (or maybe mine) was your potty chair!! You kept sitting on it & loved that it played music. Mommy is excited for you start using that soon!!
You enjoyed collecting all of the bows!
Princess tent :)
Big Girl Potty!!
Cleaning!
Delicious!!

You got lots of exciting new toys, I'm looking forward to seeing you & your little brother/sister play with them. You are already a great sharer, lets just hope that sticks when your a big sissy!

We ended the night by having a yummy ice cream pie & singing Happy Birthday to Jesus!!

Santa...We know him!

So today we went to visit Santa & you seemed so excited while we waited in line. You kept pointing to him & getting upset that it was not our turn yet. The great part was that once we got up there you wanted nothing to do with him. I had a great laugh & you had a great cry, well we took our pictures & head home. When I got home & loaded our pictures up on the computer they were ALL blurry! Now these were the pictures I had taken with my camera because I refuse to pay $30+ for their...I guess I should have bought the package.

Well I sat at home for a few hours & contemplated just having blurry pictures or heading back up there. Well you know me, of course I headed back to the mall & waited in line again. I figured this might be my only year to get the crying Santa picture. I was a little nervous that since you had been on his lap a few hours earlier you might not hate him as much. Well lucky for me you were still just as frightened!! That is until I picked you up & he gave you a candy cane, then he was your best friend.

Such a drama queen!
Thank you for making that extra trip SO worth it Hallee!!

Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you;

11 Weeks!

Babe!

You have been better to me this week! I have only gotten sick once this week so I am hoping that is the new trend. I have never had a fig but that is how big you are today, 1 1/2 inches long, still so tiny. The great thing is that you are growing strong & getting all your stuff in order for the next few months in there. I think the best part of feeling better is that I am able to enjoy dreaming about you even more.

This week we got some great news our dear friends Kara & Marc got the phone call we have all been praying for! They were matched with the sweetest little boy, Nolan Fox! We got to celebrate & love on them at a baby shower. I get excited thinking of the play dates Hallee, Nolan & you will have in the years to come. Marc & Kara are the cutest parents & it is fun seeing their family grow!

We are excited to celebrate our Saviors birth in a few days!! I hope you are enjoying Christmas in there! All the gifts are bought, wrapped & ready to give to our loved ones. Now we just get to spend time with family & eat lots of food. I hope you let me eat more then you did on Thanksgiving :)

Love you sweetie!

10 Weeks!

Little!

This week has been a fun one around the house, Christmas is in full swing here! We have all the decorations up, the smell of sugar cookies, full calendar of parties & my all time favorite the Christmas light glow through the windows. I think of how different Christmas was last year when your sissy was 2 1/2 months old & now she is running around the house playing with her nativity set. Oh how I look forward to next year when you are here & the two of you can enjoy the beautiful season.

This week you are barley the size of a kumquat, too cute! You are still making sure that I know you are in there each morning. I am hoping that in the next week or so I will be done with this awful "morning sickness" we will see. Other then the nausea I have felt great during the day, not too tired until around 9pm then I expire.

I hope you are enjoying the sound of Christmas tunes in there. Stay strong sweet little baby. We are praying for you lots & love you tons!

Hugs & Kisses,
Mother

Petting Zoo!

We took our first trip to the local petting zoo (thanks to Groupon!) You had so much fun petting all the fun animals. Your favorite were the rabbits & guinea pigs, I think cause they were more your size. The Zedonks were really cool we will have to take you back to ride them soon. I can't wait until your little brother/sister is here & we can take both of you there to enjoy.
Loving holding the animals

Beep Beep!
Who would have know the "corn" sandbox
would have been the best part...
Awesome Zebra/Donkey Zedonk!

The petting zoo also had this amazing park!
