Since this is where I spend a majority of my time this week I thought it would be fun to post a few pictures of The Land. I really really really love when Disneyland is decorated for Halloween & Christmas. I truly can not wait to take you there & experience Disney thru your eyes!!

38 Weeks
Lovely Leek!
Baby girl you weigh about 6.8 pounds & are over 19 1/2 inches long, like a leek. I really hope you don't get much bigger then what the average is because I have to birth you! :) We had another doctors appointment this week & things are still progressing. We are now 1.5 centimeter dilated & my cervix has softened, so it really could be any time! After this doctors appointment I have really been thinking more about how soon you really are going to be here. I have not been too worried about labor until the last few days. I have to admit that I am starting to get a little scared, luckily your daddy & grandma will be there to encourage me. The even better part is that you will be there at the end of it all & that is the most exciting part!!
Your daddy & I want you here so bad that we are trying any of speed labor up remedies. We have been walking A LOT, I have been to Disneyland 2 times this week. One of the times I went the parking attendant saw my belly & parked me in the handicap parking lot so I would not have to walk as far...I guess he did not know that was the whole reason I was there! We went to lunch at a Thai food restaurant to eat spicy food, I ate my lunch on a 4 out of 5 spicy scale. I have been doing squats since they say that can help too. We have been doing anything & everything, some stuff I will tell you about when you get older. Also your daddy is so helpful this week he painted my toenails, it was so cute, I could not stop laughing!
Just know that you have so many people that love you & can't wait to meet you so hurry up & get here!! We love you so very much Hallee & can't wait to meet you!
Love,
Mom

37 Weeks
My Swiss Chard!
This week your daddy & I celebrated our 6 year wedding anniversary! I truly can not believe how fast time goes, it does not feel like over 11 years ago we had our first date. I can't wait to tell you all about how your dad & I met & feel in love. I can truly say that I love that man more today than the day I married him & I know God is going to continue to strengthen our relationship in the many years to come. To celebrate the two of us went to Disneyland & just walked around, I can't really ride much right now. Then we had a nice dinner at home & just enjoyed each others company. I can't believe that this time last year is when we decided that we were ready to have a baby & here you are! God is SO good!
We also had the amazing pleasure of attending your Daddy's commissioning ceremony. Your daddy had been working so hard to become licensed, he finished his Masters of Divinity last year, wrote a really long theology paper & went thru a long interview process. Well all of his hard work officially paid off, this week we got to celebrate him. The ceremony could not have been more perfect. We affirmed his calling in ministry, I wish I could have written down all the encouraging words people had to say about him. Your father is extremely gifted at the ministry God has called him to & I look forward to you sharing that journey with him. Your daddy is officially Pastor Michael Scott Brook, so proud of him!
Hallee we are ready for you to come! Your crib, swing, bouncer, car seat, clothes are washed, hospital bag is packed we are just waiting for you. I know you like it in my belly & I have enjoyed being pregnant but we REALLY want to meet you! Love you more then you know sweetie!
Love always

Week 36
My Crenshaw Melon!
Hallee you now weigh almost 6 pounds, like a crenshaw melon & are more than 18 1/2 inches long. You gain about an ounce a day, your daddy says I look bigger everyday! We went to the doctor this week & we are right on schedule & you are one healthy girl. The doctor said that I'm 50% effaced & 1 centimeter dilated so things are starting to get ready. I'm excited to go to the doctors again next week to see what progression there has been.
This week was also my first week on maternity leave, so NO MORE work!! It has been so nice to do some stuff around the house & run some errands. I was also able to spend some time with Alissa & baby Wesley this week. Every time I hold him I get so excited for that to be you in a few weeks. Every morning your daddy wakes up & says "Hallee come out today, daddy wants to meet you!" I love how excited he is!
We also had our family/friend shower in Chino Hills this week. I once again was SO overwhelmed by how much people love our little family. Our family & friends spoiled us with great gifts & more adorable handmade goodies! Your grandma did such a great job putting this shower together, she is such a good hostess! Your daddy & I feel so blessed to have the wonderful support we have. I can't wait to organize all of the amazing stuff we got, the we just wait for you to arrive!
I can't wait to see you in a few weeks little girl. Make sure not to get too big in there & stay head down please! Love you SO very much Hallee Jane!
I Love you!

35 Weeks
Sweet Honeydew!
Hallee you don't have much room to maneuver now that you are 18 inches long & weigh 5 1/4 pounds, the weight of a honeydew melon. I enjoy melon so much & I'm sure you will as well! I have been eating so much fruit this summer, especially when it is hot out. My favorite are fruit ice cream bars...yum!
We had our very last birthing class this week...I guess that means we are ready for labor?!?! I have to say that I really really can't wait for you to arrive but I'm kind of scared for labor. I know that women have been doing this for years but the unknown makes me a little anxious. I am trying to let go of any expectations of how your birth will go and just know that God is in control. You will learn that your mom is a little bit of a control freak :)
Our amazing friends Ryan & Alissa had their little boy Wesley Mason this week. We are SO excited for their little family!! We have been dreaming, praying & anticipating this day for months now. Alissa & I dreamt of being pregnant together & have truly enjoyed sharing this journey together. I can't wait until the two of you meet, I know you will be great friends! We walked out of the hospital so excited for when that is us with our little girl.
I can't believe you are going to be here in about a month. Your daddy has been reading to you every night before we go to bed & you roll around in response to hearing his voice. I love that you already recognize his voice & love when he talks to you. The two of you are going to be so close, daddy's little girl!!
Love you sweet baby!
