Easter

We started our Easter morning at church. It is the perfect place to gain perspective on the day. He is not here, he has risen! Why do you look for the living among the dead? Luke 24:5-6. This is one of the most important days to us as Christ followers, I look forward to teaching you more about it in the years to come. After services our church had decided to donate chicks on behalf of the individuals that attended services. The chicks are going overseas to help provide for those in need. So they brought in some little chicks for us to hold & take pictures with, they were so cute! Then we came home & had a delicious brunch thanks to pinterest! Opened baskets & did a little egg hunt in the back yard. We had a very eventful morning!

Coloring Eggs

This was a new adventure for us since last year you were only 6 months old. WOW how much fun it is to see the two of you enjoy coloring eggs. I have to admit I had all these grand plans of what our eggs would look like but with 2 toddlers that was silly. Lets just say that we ended up with mixed solid eggs with awesome Mickey Mouse stickers on them. They were perfect & all that matters is that the two of you had a great time.

Kingston was SO excited!!
Watch out for Halzilla!

Lets just say NONE of our eggs survived
without cracks in them

I think I ended up with more on my
fingers then any of the eggs...
Of course stickers (ssticks) were much
more fun on each other!

26 Weeks!

Sweets!

I can not believe how fast this pregnancy is going.  You are already 14 inches long, the length of an English cucumber.  It is already April & that means you should arrive in about 3 months...WOW!!  You have been kicking so much lately it is pretty funny.  You really enjoy when I eat anything that has sweets in it, sometimes I feel like you are doing arobics in there.

I have to admit that I have been really bad about taking my weekly pictures, so I am sorry.  Your daddy has been working some long hours so remembering to take my picture when he gets home has been hard.  Im sorry I will try to get better :)

Know that you are extremely loved & cherished sweet baby girl!  We love dreaming about you & praying for the amazing women you will be one day.  Stay healty in there Zoey.

Lots of love!

Oh Boy!

It is such a lovely thing having a little boy in the house. We are doing things we have not done before, like building tents under the table & playing with cars. It is amazing how God designed us each uniquely & how Kingston has brought a new fun to our little house. Hallee truly loves having a playmate & enjoys copying everything he does. That is something we are working on since that means the bad & good :) The two of them share so well & truly entertain each othermost of the time. Now if only Hallee could pick up Kingston's sleeping habits we would be set! We can't wait to add little Zoey to the beautiful chaos!!

Tents!
Hiding!
War wounds...or as Hallee would
call them Oooowee!

25 Weeks!

Little!

I truly can not believe how fast this pregnancy is going by. I feel like it was just yesterday that we found out we were having another blessing. You are already 1 1/2 pounds in there, the size of a Rutabaga, which I really have no idea what that is. I have not been sleeping very well the past few weeks cause your sister has decided that sleep is an option. We are praying that you are a much better little sleep then she is.

Our house has changed a lot the last few weeks. It is fun & exciting having a boy in the house! He truly brings a new dynamic to our family that is great. I can't wait to see how the addition of little you enhances our family too! There is something so amazing about siblings & you are going to have so much fun playing with Hallee & Kingston. They ask about you everyday & can't wait for your arrival. I can tell you that you are in a much quieter place right now, the two of them are a little noisy :)

We love you so much Zoey & pray that you keep growing healthy. It is amazing to me that we love you as much as we do & yet our heavenly father loves you more, that is incredible. You are loved tremendously!

Bubble Prayer

Daddy was giving you a bath today & you unprompted grabbed his hands & started to pray. You were praying about mamma, dadda, baby & of course bubbles! Prayer is one of your favorite things, it is the sweetest thing.

24 Weeks!

Sweet Girl!

Time is flying by in this pregnancy! I truly can not believe that we are already 6 months into this blessing. You are growing like crazy, you are longer then a foot, about the length of an ear of corn. Your favorite time of day is bed time. I think cause you finally get daddy & I to yourself you make sure we spend some time with you. You are getting so strong & your kicks are so fun. We can sit there & watch my belly twitch & we just laugh at you.

This week has been a lot of change for us & we thank you for being such a trooper. We have become a family of 4.5 this week. We have our cousin Kingston living with us for a while. He is the cutest 3 year old boy with such a great personality. He really likes you & frequently asks about baby Zoey sleeping in my belly. "Is she ready to wake up yet?" It is funny when him & Hallee are both talking to you. You are going to love playing with the two of them when you get here.

Praying for you little girl! We are blessed to be your parents & can't wait to see your cute face here in a few weeks. We love you most Zoey!!
