Seattle

Seattle was wonderful!! We had such a great time making some fun family memories. I have to say that if the weather was like that year round I would move there in a heartbeat. We did not encounter one sign of rain, it was sunny & clear our entire trip. Everyone we talked to said we must have brought our CA sunshine with us.

Seattle has been a place I have always wanted to visit & I am so glad we were able to make it happen. We visited all the best places, eat at delicious & had many laughs. We will definitely make a trip back there in the future. We will pray that we have such great travel babies again because we could not have asked for better girls!

Your first plane flight, you were awesome! I think I took this picture during the only 10 minutes you slept. You were such a trooper with all of our travel. Much of our time you were either in the car site seeing or in the stroller site seeing & didn't make a peep.
We visited Pike Place Market where they have delicious fresh seafood & produce. We got there just in time to see a few fish flying & the energy it produces.
You have to make sure that you are safe when you cross the street! The sign says 74 people hit by car not carrying the flag & 0 hit with the flag...love it!
Mike was SO excited when we came across this Turkish Delight deli. He has always wondered what Turkish Delight tasted like since reading Chronicles of Narnia. It was delicious!! I think my favorite was lemon & Mike
Of course we stopped at the first ever Starbucks!
You know you can't visit Seattle without stopping by the Space Needle. The weather was perfect & the visibility was amazing & clear.
Always looking so cool!
I was craving fresh fish & chips with clam chowder so we visited Ivar's @ Pier 55. After we walked around & visited some of fun shops & did some people watching.
YUM!
This sign made me laugh because in San Clemente the signs on the pier all tell us not to feed the birds...I guess their Seagulls are different :)
We stopped by Gasworks Park & really enjoyed the uniqueness of this location. It used to be gas pump plant that fueled the city, but has been closed & you can walk around the old pumps. Hallee really loved being able to run around in the fresh air. It was fun to watch the boats & planes come in & out on the lake.

Of course we had to stop by the Freemont Troll! This was a funny site to see, it is literally a huge cement troll carved under a bridge. It was hilarious!
The Ballard Locks were one of my favorite places! It was such a different thing to experence & was nothing like I had imagined. It was fun to see the boats pull in, tie off & wait for the water to fill up! Then the water would flood to the other side of the wall, so much water!

Lucky for us this little girl only visited once when we skipped your nap & got you back to the hotel too late. Thank you Hallee for being such a fun traveler!!
