Seattle

Seattle was wonderful!! We had such a great time making some fun family memories. I have to say that if the weather was like that year round I would move there in a heartbeat. We did not encounter one sign of rain, it was sunny & clear our entire trip. Everyone we talked to said we must have brought our CA sunshine with us.

Seattle has been a place I have always wanted to visit & I am so glad we were able to make it happen. We visited all the best places, eat at delicious & had many laughs. We will definitely make a trip back there in the future. We will pray that we have such great travel babies again because we could not have asked for better girls!

Your first plane flight, you were awesome! I think I took this picture during the only 10 minutes you slept. You were such a trooper with all of our travel. Much of our time you were either in the car site seeing or in the stroller site seeing & didn't make a peep.
We visited Pike Place Market where they have delicious fresh seafood & produce. We got there just in time to see a few fish flying & the energy it produces.
You have to make sure that you are safe when you cross the street! The sign says 74 people hit by car not carrying the flag & 0 hit with the flag...love it!
Mike was SO excited when we came across this Turkish Delight deli. He has always wondered what Turkish Delight tasted like since reading Chronicles of Narnia. It was delicious!! I think my favorite was lemon & Mike
Of course we stopped at the first ever Starbucks!
You know you can't visit Seattle without stopping by the Space Needle. The weather was perfect & the visibility was amazing & clear.
Always looking so cool!
I was craving fresh fish & chips with clam chowder so we visited Ivar's @ Pier 55. After we walked around & visited some of fun shops & did some people watching.
YUM!
This sign made me laugh because in San Clemente the signs on the pier all tell us not to feed the birds...I guess their Seagulls are different :)
We stopped by Gasworks Park & really enjoyed the uniqueness of this location. It used to be gas pump plant that fueled the city, but has been closed & you can walk around the old pumps. Hallee really loved being able to run around in the fresh air. It was fun to watch the boats & planes come in & out on the lake.

Of course we had to stop by the Freemont Troll! This was a funny site to see, it is literally a huge cement troll carved under a bridge. It was hilarious!
The Ballard Locks were one of my favorite places! It was such a different thing to experence & was nothing like I had imagined. It was fun to see the boats pull in, tie off & wait for the water to fill up! Then the water would flood to the other side of the wall, so much water!

Lucky for us this little girl only visited once when we skipped your nap & got you back to the hotel too late. Thank you Hallee for being such a fun traveler!!

Hallee Jane!

Big sister!

You are becoming so independent!! You are such a sweet & easy going little girl. You truly do love life & the world around you. Right now you can not get enough of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse & anything else Mickey. You will ask for MyMo right when you wake up & anytime the tv is on, you think he should be on. You have such an extensive vocabulary for a 15 month old. You chat ALL day long & to anyone who will listen to you. You also love to be a greeter, you say Hi to everyone & Bye guys to those leaving. You are very polite & say cheeese (please) & than tu (thank you) when you need something.

We have been telling you all about your little sister that will be coming in a few months. You call her E-E (Zoey) & it is so sweet. You come up to my belly & give it kisses & tell it Yha-you (Love you) almost every day. The great part is that you have been pulling up your own shirt & saying baby while pointing to your belly! I think it is too cute I can't correct you. We know that you are going to be the best big sister to little Zoey.

You are a caring & sensitive little girl to those around you. You are extremely observant to the mood in the room. If someone is sad you want nothing more then to fix it. At Zoey's gender reveal when everyone was cheering in excitement that it was a girl you got scared at the yelling. You are such a sweetie!! Thank you for being such a joy to our life. We pray you have that same love & passion for Christ in the years to come. Love you so much Hals!!

Baby Blues!

You would not think it is winter here
we have been spending a lot of time
at the beach...gotta love little footprints
Always enjoying your beep-beep!

17 Weeks!

Zoey!

This has been a busy week I feel like. We are getting ready to head to Seattle & Minnesota so I have been planning & preparing for those 8 days. I am beyond excited to see both for the first time. I have heard wonderful things about Seattle & have always wished to go there. Minnesota brings another sense of excitement because we get to spend time with the Tisor family!! Jord is one of my best friends & I miss her often so I'm looking forward to some refreshing time with her. I am also excited to hang out with her little boys, which I am sure are Hallee & your future boyfriends :)

Another exciting thing is that you are really starting to move around in there! I started feeling you a few weeks ago but your daddy was able to start feeling you this week. You are the 5 inches long & weigh about 5 ounces, the size of a turnip. After we put your sissy to bed we lay there and enjoy your rolling around in my belly. I think you realize this is your time with no distractions & you take full advantage of it. It is such a sweet time just the 3 of us.

I am praying you are one happy little girl, who loves Jesus & this beautiful life. Keep growing in there & stay healthy sweets, we love you!

16 Weeks!

Little GIRL!!

I am still in shock that we are having another sweet little girl!! Zoey Ryan you are extremely loved & cherished. Right now you have no idea how many people can't wait to meet you. I know that you have quite a few weeks until that happens but it will be here before we know it. I am looking forward to the sweet sister relationship that will grow between Hallee & you. The two of you are going to be best friends & share such a special bond.

You are 4 1/2 inches long & the size of an avocado which is something I love!! I hope that you grow to enjoy them as much as I do...they are delicious. I was fun to see you on the ultrasound a few days ago, you are developing so wonderfully. We feel extremely blessed that God has entrusted us with another baby. Especially that He finds me worthy of raising two daughters! I am praying these days that the Lord prepares me to raise my little girls in His image. For you daddy to have patience with a house full of girls. :) Also that he is preparing Hallee to be the best big sister.

We are ecstatic to share life with you sweet Zoey. Love you to the moon!

Twenty Twelve

Ok so my LITTLE sister is graduating from High School this year....I feel old!! She is a beautiful, funny, smart and caring lover of Jesus. It was so much fun to capture some of her personality. We are proud of the women she has become in the past 17 1/2 years. We look forward to seeing what God does in & through her in the years to come.
