Sweet ONE!

For your birthday we had a fun party at Aunt Kim & Uncle Kent's house. It was such a joy celebrating your first year with our family & friends. The day was perfect & you had so much fun running around with all the other little kids. Your favorite part was of course the cake & all the attention you got!

I feel like it was just yesterday that we waited for those two pink lines that changed our lives forever! Now you are ONE years old & I could have never imagined being a mom would be like this. People always say that you are never ready to have kids...they are so right! I could have never been ready for the way you walked into my life & have forever changed me. I love you more then I could have ever thought possible. I thank God for finding me worthy to be your mommy. I am grateful to witness the extraordinary father your dad is to you. I think you are one awesome little girl!

I am proud of the loving, funny, smart, beautiful, energetic, strong willed & passionate little girl you already are. I can only imagine how proud I will be of you in the years to come. I know that you are going to do something great in this world. I pray that you grow an amazing passion for Christ & the plans he has for your life. We look forward to seeing the gifts & purpose he has already placed on your heart. I pray you will have the confidence & desire to follow after his will.

11 Months

Baby Girl!

I can't believe that we are in the last month before you turn the big ONE! You are so much fun! You laugh so much, mostly at yourself. You like to walk around the house & peek around corners to "scare" us & then just laugh. You are still in love with your kitchen set & baby doll, those are your favorite things to spend time with.

You are a never ending eater! You love to eat bowls of fruit & anything with carbs. The other day you came over & took my turkey sandwich. You would prefer to drink your milk or water with a "big girl" straw. Your new favorite words are taan koo (thank you) & bu buton (belly button).

You have really learned to love books! Most of the day I feel like a librarian because you take all the books off your shelf, I go back in & put them back up & then you take them all back down. You enjoy picking a book out & bringing to me & sitting on my lap while I read to you. I pray that you grow up having a love for reading like your daddy.

I still can not believe that my sweet little girl is almost ONE years old! You have been such a wonderful blessing to our little family. If the rest of your life is a great as the past months has been then we are in for fun ride! We love you more then we could have ever imagined!
